Tru Fire Kitchen in Plano seriously delivered. I started with the Mediterranean shrimp salad and it was so good. The texture combination is what really makes it. The orzo adds that perfect bite, the spinach was sliced just right (not chewy or messy), and the cucumber brought a fresh crunch that pulled everything together. Every component tasted like it belonged there, and the overall flavor was bright, balanced, and genuinely satisfying. Just a great dish. The gyro platter also didn’t disappoint. The meat was tender and flavorful, and I loved how it was served. It makes it easy to build each bite exactly how you want, whether you’re going heavier on the meat, loading up the toppings, or mixing in more sauce. Overall, I was really impressed with the food, and the vibe makes this place a win for pretty much anything An awesome no pressure first-date spot, a gathering with friends, or honestly any occasion. I’ll definitely be back.
This place has turned into one of my wife's favorite places. Normally we stop in for a drink or two and some kind of appetizer. Everything we have ordered has been very good. Last night we had the pleasure of being waited on by Betania. She was professional and gave us quality recommendations for dinner. One thing that I will complain about, and it isn't really a complaint, is the layout. I am sure they have done the best with the layout of the building but it felt somewhat cramped. There are tables that are right next to one of the patio doors. Sitting there with the foot traffic of people going in and out is a little bothersome. Other than that, we will continue to go there. Here are a few of the things we really like. Honey Burrata, Meatballs, Lil' Goat, Chicken Sandwich (with sweet potato fries), Chicken Marsala and any of the pizzas. I hope you all enjoy this place as much as we do.
Such amazing food! I got the rosemary pizza and it was delicious! The service was perfect and Amelia and Clark even created amazing mocktails for me and my friend. 10/10 would recommend!
I'm so glad we came here—this place is absolutely amazing, and I'm sure anyone who visits will feel the same way. The food is incredible. We kicked things off with the crab dip and pita bread, and it was a showstopper. The chicken burger and the salmon were also outstanding. Honestly, every dish was great and worth every single penny.
I came here because of the reviews about the spicy garlic noodle bowl and the reviews did not lie. This dish was amazing, rich in flavor, so much garlic and the spice level was perfect! It had heat you could feel but wasn't overpowering.
Takeaway: Add it to your “Restaurant’s to Try” List. Splendid food and Amazing Service! We were a 7:15 reservation (getting a same day reservation was extremely easy). Service was prompt and enjoyable. It did slightly delay, but picked up shortly after and made for a swift and smooth departure - Bagged our food for us and payment was prompt. Rachel was extremely helpful in figuring out what is good/worth trying. It was fairly quiet and private(not too many people/we had corner seating for 2), BUT seating is fairly close so during a busy time, it’d probably be less enjoyable. The food was SO good. The Truman Mac is a heavy meal, but our server Rachel recommended adding shrimp or chicken (I added shrimp) to balance out the heaviness. The Meatball appetizer was just OOO. The sourdough had a beautiful crisp exterior and soft interior. The bread was the perfect amount of crunch and soft. We plan on visiting again to try more of the menu!
Wonderful food! Great service! I enjoyed my visit here. The staff was absolutely wonderful. My favorite dish was the porkchop. Very well seasoned. The veggies were seasoned and cooked perfect as well. Went for a birthday and they gave the birthday girl a signed card along with cake! I was impressed.
Great place with excellent ambience, food, and service. They have a lovely, quiet patio, for those days when the weather's nice. We started with the flatbread, which was very tasty, and for our entrees had the Spinach and Quinoa Salad, Trumac Pasta, and the Four Cheese Pizza with Pepperoni. All were excellent, seasoned to perfection, with perfect ingredients. They also offer a varied wine list and our waiter was very knowledgeable about each offering. We also had one of their Blood Orange Margaritas and it was tasty. Service was friendly, unobtrusive, and very helpful. Located in the Shops at Starwood off Lebanon Road in Frisco, there's ample parking and easy access. And after your meal, you can stroll through the people-friendly shopping center with lots to see. I would highly recommend you give TrueFire a try!
I had a delicious meal for dinner here. The spicy garlic noodles is a life changing dish. The artichoke appetizer is delicious and the blood orange margarita as well. The service was great as well
I liked this place OK. But I’m in my Mid 50s. It was too dark and too loud for me. But the food was great, and the service was really good both in the dining room, and at the bar. I probably would not go back unless I had friends that want to go there. I think it’s better suited for young people. Or younger than myself, I should say. Lol. We had the mac & cheese for an appetizer, and we all ordered the spicy noodles for an entrée. Both of them were exceptional. I would recommend to friends and family, But I would tell them that it’s really dark and kind of loud on the weekends.
